Mr. TEP Phirun

 Mr. TEP Phirun is a dedicated teacher educator with over ten years of experience in English language education and teacher training. He began his career as a high school English teacher, serving for five years before transitioning to his current role as a teacher educator, where he now mentors and supports pre-service teachers at the Primary and Lower Secondary levels. In addition to his full-time responsibilities, he also serves as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Cambodia, where he supports undergraduate students in developing their academic and professional English communication skills.

He holds a Master of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Norton University, as well as a Bachelor of Education in School-Based Management from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Throughout his career, he has actively pursued professional development opportunities both locally and internationally, continually updating his knowledge of innovative teaching methods and strategies.
 
Phirun plays a key role in curriculum design, course syllabus development, and the creation of standardized assessments. His work focuses on equipping future teachers with the skills necessary to thrive in modern, dynamic classrooms. He also promotes a culture of research among student teachers by guiding them in conducting classroom-based action research to enhance their teaching practices.
 
His teaching philosophy centers on fostering strong teacher-student relationships and engaging learners through practical, creative, and communicative approaches. He is deeply committed to helping student teachers build their linguistic, pedagogical, and professional competencies, ensuring they grow into confident and capable educators.
 
Beyond his daily responsibilities, Phirun is a firm believer in lifelong learning and professional growth. He remains committed to the ongoing improvement of education in Cambodia through collaboration, innovation, and the empowerment of future educators.
